Kendall Young Library has lots of stuff just for teens—books, media, programs, and more. Need help with homework or a place to come and hang out after school? We’ve got that, too! The Teen Department welcomes all young adults in 6th through 12th grades. Teens can enjoy all of our library’s collections and resources!
Teen Programs
We create fun, engaging programs for teens, designed for 6th-12th graders. Our activities are designed to provide the opportunity to learn and expand friendships through social, collaborative and educational activities. Currently Teen Lounge meets every Tuesday from 3:30-5:00. *NEW* this year…Teen Book Club! Stop by the reference desk for more info and to sign up! Teen Reviews
This is an opportunity to earn community service from home while sharing your opinion on what you’ve read, watched, or played with others! Your review should be a well written 250 word critical evaluation of the material, including a one paragraph summary and a one paragraph critique.
